Week 32 – Melon Mambo

Today I have a Cascading Pop Up Card to share with you. The Masterfully Made DSP was my starting point, and as it has many bright floral patterns. I’ve gone back to the Annual catalogue and picked out the Paper Florist dies. The front of my card is decorated with a piece of DSP matted onto some Basic White card, leaving the narrowist of margins for a border.

A belly band is wrapped around the centre and one of the dies from the Nested Essentials dies was cut in Melon Mambo card and glued to the centre of the belly band. This is decorated with the flowers and foliage. Some Wink of Stella is added to the buds.

Removing the belly band and opening the card reveals and wonderful cascading pop of colour!

My flowers were so bright and colourful, a flying insect came in to sit on the flowers (see it in the circle)!!!

Another of the Nested Essential dies is added to the bottom to write your message.
