Coastal Cabana: Floating Panel Tent Easel card

2024-25 blog header

I’m thrilled you are here to join us each Wednesday evening for the AWHT Colour Creations Blog Hop showcasing the full range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours.

Week 18 – Coastal Cabana

Today I feature the Dandy Designs DSP. This 12″ x 12″ paper pack has 48 sheets and is in the Clearance Rack. It is less than $1 per sheet, so run, don’t walk, to get this bargain!!!

This fancy fold design is called a Floating Panel Tent Easel card. My inspiration began with the patterned papers and evolved from there. These colours, although more on the subtles side, gave me the feels of spring! Once I had all the decorated card panels in place, I had to choose a stamp set.

Colour Combination - Coastal Cabana

I haven’t used the Cheerful Daisies products for a while, and I had fun playing with them again. They would brighten anyones day, wouldn’t they, especially in these beautiful colours?!  I diecut the largest die in Basic White card and glued it to the card, then I  stamped and die cut the flowers and leaves and  added these on top with dimensionals.  It gives a lovely 3D effect!

The card opens up and the right panel folds forward to sit against the sentiment label. The sentiments are one of the stamps from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set. I inked the top half of the sentiment and stamped it on the front of the card and then inked the lower half and stamped it on the white diecut label. I love that this could be sent as a birthday card, thinking of you or special occasion card.

  1. Kate your floating panel tent card (wow what a mouthful) is just lovely and as has been said very Spring like. The daisy stamp was the perfect choice for it.

  3. I absolutely love how your Floating Panel Tent Easel card turned out, Kate. The Cheerful Daisies stamp set was the perfect stamp set to use with this DSP. I love the 3D effect you’ve achieved and your soft spring colour combination.

  4. I agree, these colours really do evoke thoughts of Spring – so pretty! Your card is really beautiful, Kate. The pink daisies are a gorgeous complement to the other colour tones.
