I’m thrilled you are here to join us each Wednesday evening for the AWHT Colour Creations Blog Hop showcasing the full range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours.
Week 2 – Petunia Pop
With the release of the new Annual catalogue, we begin our blog hops with the new In Color™ range, followed by the new Basic Beige, then all the other Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order. So today, we have the second new 2024-2026 In Color™, Petunia Pop.

Today I feature the Leaf Collection stamp again – I really am loving thisbackground stamp and here it is in Petunia Pop and Pretty in Pink. The sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set, is stamped onto a die cut from the Unbounded Love dies.

The inside is decorated the same as the envelope, so the design flows across all elements.

This next card is part of a set of 3 using the One Sheet Wonder (OSW) Technique. By taking one piece of 6×6 In Color Designer Series Paper, cut it into 4 equal squares, the one of these cut it into 3 x 1″ strips. Place a square onto Basic White card (9 x 12cm) then leave a gap and place the 1″ strip (reverse side of pattern) with equal borders at the bottom. The 1.5cm wide sentiment strip covers the gap between the papers. I then added another matt layer of Petunia Pop card then onto a Thick Basic White card base.

The sentiment is from the Country Flowers stamp set and the image is from the Attention Shoppers stamp set. This is coloued using Bubble Bath, Petunia Pop & Soft Sky Blends Combo Markers and thed flowers have Wink of Stella on them. I finished off with a Linen Thread bow and some Shimmer Gems.

and here are all 3 super quick cards!

Thanks for dropping by. I hope you join me next Wednesday for inspiration using Pretty in Pink.
Please enjoy the wonderful inspiration of our next team member, Michele Taylor.

I hadn’t thought of doing pink leaves and they don’t look half bad. A simple OSW is always great when you need to stock pile cards quickly.

Two beautiful cards Kate. I particularly love the use of the bouquet of flowers on the second card. So much so, I popped that bundle in my cart.

What a great selection of cards, Kate! I love the simplicity of your one sheet wonder and the unxpected use of pink as the main colour for leaves. You’ve showcased Pretty in Pink perfectly!

Lovely cards Kate and the leaves look lovely in the pinks. The OSW cards are pretty and the addition of the bouquet is perfect. Soft Sky was a great choice for the bouquet wrapping.

Lovely cards, Kate! Your “leafy” card is so pretty – what a nice combination of pinks. I really like the balance of white and Petunia Pop on your other cards, and the flower bouquets are delightful!

Your pink leaves look amazing – such an unexpectedly wonderful way to use the stamp. I love your OSW cards, too. A great way to maximise the DSP.

Nice cards Kate – I love the overlapping layers of leaves in the first card, and that simple OSW is so effective!
