Each Monday, some of the Art With Heart team are joining the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop to bring you creative inspiration showcasing our September-December Mini catalogue and Annual catalogue Christmas products.
Heart of Christmas Week 11
Today I am using the Deckled Circles dies to make my Rocker card with the O Holy Night Designer Series Paper and the Adhesive-Backed Star Trinkets. With this chosen piece of DSP, I felt it didn’t really need a lot added to it, so went with a different style of card shape.

I have used #5 for the card base, #6 for the front layer and #7 for the inside.
The front layer of DSP is glued onto Night of Navy card before being diecut. My Versamark inkpad was swiped around the edges of the bottom half, White Emboss Powder added, and melted with my Heat Tool. I felt it needed to stand out more againt the navy card. The same was repeated on the top half but with Gold Emboss Powder to match the stars!

The sentiment is from the Brightest Glow stamp set and stamped in Misty Moonlight ink, fussy cut with Paper Snips and added on mini dimensionals.

On the inside, it doesn’t leave much room for a message, but you could also add another panel on the back.

Thanks for dropping by. I hope you can join me next Monday for more festive inspiration!

So very sweet and pretty, Kate. I must make one of these rocker cards when my Deckled Circles arrive in my next order.

Great card, Kate. I’ve been wanting to try this fold for a while. The paper works really well with it.

Kate, this card is so gorgeous – it perfectly frames the scene in the DSP. I love the way you’ve illustrated your numbering of the layering circles too!

Such a unique layout for a fancy fold card, the gold around the top of the circle looks great with the gold stars

Kate the paper you have chosen is perfect for this rocker card. What a great idea to only emboss part of the border. It’s very effective.

Kate, I LOVE the two-toned heat embossed edges on the DSP deckled circle. Great way to provide a bit of contrast to the matting layer, without adding bulk, and it looks very elegant. You’ve used this paper beautifully, and the card fold is a lot of fun.
