Pumpkin Pie’s Greatest Journey

2022-23 CCBH Logo

Each week some of the Art With Heart team are joining  the Colour Creations Blog Hop to bring you creative inspiration showcasing our range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order.

Week 41 – Pumpkin Pie

Today I’m using the Greatest Journey Bundle with the coordinating Enjoy the Journey 12″ x 12″ DSP. I started with a Thick White card base and took a piece of the DSP, placed it in my Trimmer on different angles and cut, placing them on the side of the card. Once I was happy with the layout, I added Mini Dimensionals to each one and adhered them to the card.

The clouds were die cut from So Saffron card and using a sponge Dauber, I added Pumpkin Pie ink around the edges. The Soft Succulent oval was sitting on my desk from a previous project (Framed Florets dies). I stamped the trees in the same colour ink and then die cut the Evening Evergreen section and trimmed off the excess around the oval. A Basic Black silhouette was die cut and glued to the side. The oval has Dimensionals behind the left side and glue on the right side. The top cloud is glued to the card and the other two are added with Mini Dimensionals. I stamped the stars, added the moon and stamped the simple sentiment from the Thanks a Bunch stamp set (Level 1 SAB item).

On the inside I have cut a strip of the DSP and cut it on angles to space them apart slightly, like I did on the front.

  1. Oh my goodness, how gorgeous is that paper?! I love how you’ve showed it off, Kate – really striking design. The clouds look great sponged with Pumpkin Pie ink (it really improves So Saffron, LOL), and your stamping on the card looks great.

  2. Such a fabulous graphic design, Kate. I love the way this draws your eye around the card and your use of the scraps inside too. The sponging on the clouds adds yet another dimension to this incredible eye-catching card.
