Week 40 – Poppy Parade
Today I’ve created a masculine card using the Legendary Ride Bundle and the Ready to Ride Specialty DSP.
This specialty designer paper has a gorgeous shine. Look at the black and silver squares of the background paper, the black squares are super shiny. I then layered some of the Soft Suede pattern across the centre.
The bike is stamped in Black Memento ink onto Basic White card and die cut. The features on top are die cut pieces in Poppy Parade card and Silver Foil. Who doesn’t love a shiny chrome bike?! The flame is stamped in Poppy Parade and the smaller flame die cut from the same colour card. The sentiment is stamped in Versamark ink, White Emboss Powder added and heat set, before die cutting with the Stitched Rectangle die. The bike is popped up on dimensionals.
On the inside, a smaller bike was stamped in Black Memento with a Poppy Parade sentiment. The bike was also stamped on the envelope!

Oh wow how cool are those flames out of the bike’s exhaust! The red and chrome is just brilliant. Kate your card and all the elements are just fabulous.

Oh Kate I really love your masculine card. Isn’t that SDSP just fabulous for male cards. You make it hard to resist purchasing this bundle especially with the greeting you have used inside the card.

Wow!!! Kate, I love this fabulous masculine card. I knew red made things go faster – just look at those flames! So many great elements – red, black, shiny metal – a perfect masculine card.
