Week 44 – So Saffron
As a child growing up in Tasmania, I loved making daisy chains and this memory was my inspiration for tonight’s card featuring many retiring products from the 2021-22 Annual catalogue. The Pierced Blooms dies have been an absolute favourite of mine and I know I will be keeping these forever!
Some of the other products used are the Ornate Floral 3D TIEF (Textured Impressions Embossing Folder) and the Tasteful Textiles TIEF, Timeless Tulips stamp set (sentiment) and the Ornate Layers dies. Misty Moonlight is one of the In Colors that will also be retiring, but how beautiful does it look with So Saffron, Soft Sea Foam and Basic White?!!!
I stamped the sentiment multiple times (stamped twice before reinking) down the left side of the white panel before embossing it with the Tasteful Textile 3D TIEF. The Misty Moonlight layer is embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D TIEF.
I stamped the sentiment again on a small offcut of white card and layered it with Misty Moonlight and popped it up on two Dimensionals with a little piece of the Cotton Ribbon Trim behind. Four of the daisies are popped up on Dimensionals and the other two adhered with liquid glue directly to the card.
Thanks for dropping by. All the products used tonight are linked at the end of this post!

A gorgeous colour combination and very sweet design, Kate. I too loved making daisy chains when I was younger. I can still remember my dad showing me how to make them – wonderful memories to treasure. Your card makes me smile xx

Those daisies are very sweet … Pierced Blooms is one of the best-ever die collections we’ve had, isn’t it? I love the Ornate Layers die-cut in So Saffron, Kate; really pretty.

Your daisies are beautiful Kate, I also have memories of making daisy chains, mainly in the school play ground.

Kate, I just adore your daisy chain card, especially the way you’ve used the pierced bloom dies and stamped the sentiment multiple times.
