Heart of Christmas Blog Hop 2019

Oh wow, have you seen the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley on page 39 in the Holiday catalogue? You need to check it out!

The only extra things you need are ink, glue, card bases and clear blocks for your stamps, but I’m sure you have these things at home already!

I lashed out and purchased the Delicata Golden Glitz Metallic ink pad as well, which you can see I have used for the stars, ribbons on the presents and also around the edges of the Red & gold star card stock. Initially this was white with gold starts, but I found it way to bright, so I sponged it with Real Red ink.  The star on top of the tree was cut from this same piece of card before I sponged it, and the hole is hidden by the tree!

This one uses more gold with the foil frame and the white background is embossed with the Scripty Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder.

The lighting wasn’t great getting that sentiment but it’s the Delicata Golden Glitz Metallic ink.

This card has a piece of DSP cut 5mm short of the card size and I used the circle punch to cut the circle out before gluing the DSP to the card for the featured candy canes to sit in. How cute is that tinsel?!!!

Even though the candy canes and the banner are stickers, you can still add dimensionals to pop them up for extra dimension. You wouldn’t think these were even stickers, as the quality is amazing!

  1. Three fantastic cards Kate – I love them all! I love the sponging and all the gold accents on the first card, especially the gold ribbon on the presents! Your second card is really lovely, and to me it has a real Aussie look and feel to it. The third cards candy canes and banner look great quality. If I was pushed to pick a favourite, it would be card no.2. I think that I’ll highly recommend this medley to a brand new stamper that has joined my monthly classes, and has minimal supplies. Thanks for sharing this medley Kate, as it’s one I hadn’t really looked at.

  3. Oh Kate I love your cards and especially the first one. Very clever to sponge with the real red and use the tree to hide where you’ve cut the star out xx

      1. Lovely cards, Kate and great to see the variety that you can create from the medley. The sponged DSP on the first card really adds pop.
