Dear Crafters,
Today’s card uses a few different stamp sets; Marbled, Lots of Lavender & Ribbon of Courage. Lots of Lavender is available in the Sale-a-bration brochure, which you can select for FREE with any $90 order!
This card was inspired by a picture posted on our Art with Heart Team FB Forum.
I hadn’t inked up my Marbled background stamp yet, and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to do so. My colour combination is Pool Party, Perfect Plum & Wisteria Wonder with Gold embossing.
The sentiment is from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set and the flowers from the Lots of Lavender stamp set.
To create the background, I inked up the entire Marbled stamp with Pool Party ink, then tapped a small amount of Wisteria Wonder & Perfect Plum inks in spots, and applied it to the Shimmery White card stock. Then I used the Wink of Stella pen to add a bit more ink across the entire background. I also went over it with a sponge dauber, especially around the edges. I sprinkled some gold embossing powder over and heat set it. Check out all that shine!
Wink of Stella was also applied over the flowers after I coloured them with Stampin’ Write Markers in coordinating colours.
