I’m back!

Well hello lovely stampers,

We are back from our wonderful holiday to Phuket, Thailand. I hope you enjoyed the few photos we posted on facebook while we were away. You wouldn’t believe that we took over 900 photos, so there will be lots of Scrapbooking in the near future!

It’s great to be home and able to stamp again!

The new Expressions Thinlits Dies (from the Holiday Catalogue) got a work out this morning and they are wonderful. I was a little worried about easy they were going to release from the die, but they are fantastic. They sure will become a feature on many cards.

I started with this Christmas card using the thinlits and the frosted finishes embellishment with the Winter Frost DSP.

This card also uses the love thinlits with the Beautifully Baroque Bundle (stamp and coordinating embossing folder). You can purchase these 2 items at 15% off!

I love this Venetian Romance DSP pack of papers. I have also used the expressions thinlits using multipurpose adhesive sheets and silver glitter over the heart from the Hearts a Flutter Stamp and Die Set.

These are just a taste of what I have been working on and will have plenty more to share with you in the coming weeks.

Card Gift Idea

I have a little gift idea that I would like to share with you!

It’s a blank case that the Stampin’ Up! clear mount stamps come in and I have decorated it with the Garden Gingham Designer Series Paper. Isn’t it a wonderful way to use the DSPs.

I thought it would make a very cool gift and enclosed are 3 of my favourite matching cards I have made with this same DSPs.

Keepsake Ornament

Morning Crafters,

I know this is probably a little early to start creating things for Christmas, but I thought I would share with you a little Christmas Ornament that is so cute and quite easy to make.

Simply stamp your images, 3 in each colour, die cut them, score each down the centre and fold. Glue alternating pieces together and before gluing the final piece, add a strip of ribbon. I will do a class on these in October, so stay tuned for a date to be announced.

Features of the All-New Stampin’ Trimmer

An extra-wide 15.9 cm cutting base and an extended 39 cm ruler
- The extra-wide cutting base provides a large work area and is marked in 4 mm increments, allowing for small measurements.
- The right-side grid helps you measure and cut very thin strips.

Card from last night’s Workshop

Morning Stampers,

Today I want to share with you, a card that we made at a Workshop last night.

Among the attendees, we had some beginners through to advanced, so this was a card I created to suit any level of stamper!

We had so much fun and many laughs along the way.

It was requested to make something using embossing, stamping and punching ~ this card uses all of those things as well as a new item, the clay flower!
