I’m thrilled you are here to join us each Wednesday evening for the AWHT Colour Creations Blog Hop showcasing the full range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours.
Week 4 – Shy Shamrock
With the release of the new Annual catalogue, we begin our blog hops with the new In Color™ range, followed by the new Basic Beige, then all the other Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order. So today, we have the second new 2024-2026 In Color™, Shy Shamrock.
Today I feature the Watercolour Resist Technique with the Flowers of Love stamp set. I had a pack of Basic White Notecards and Envelopes sitting on my desk and so I started with dry embossing the front of the card and the flap of the envelope with the Eyelet 3D TIEF. I took a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolour paper (9.4 x 5.6cm) and stamped the little flower [Flowers of Beauty] with Versamark ink. Then added White Emboss Powder and melted it with my Heat Tool. Next I created a watercolour wash with my Water Painters and some ink squished onto an acrylic block to use as my palette. I used my Heat Tool to quicken the drying process, before adding a little extra colour to each of the flower petals. This was mounted to a piece of Shy Shamrock cardstock (9.8 x 6cm). and glued to the card front. The sentiment [Simply Said] was also heat embossed and trimmed with Paper Snips and added on Dimensionals. Some In Color™ Shimmer Gems were added to the centre of each flower.
and whilst I was at it, I created one in each of the new 2024-2026 In Colors™. These will become a lovely pack of cards to give as a gift!
I just love all these bright tones that add extra pizzazz to the existing SU collections. Which one is your favourite?

What a great gift. Strangely enough, I don’t think have a favourite they are all so pretty.

Loved your watercolour resist cards Kate, thanks for reminding me about this technique. Because these are such beautiful InColors, every card looks lovely but bold Petunia Pop might just be my fave.
