Fresh Freesia: Reach for the Stars Interactive card with a secret message

2023-2024 AWH Colour Creations header

Each week some of the Art With Heart team are joining  the Colour Creations Blog Hop to bring you creative inspiration showcasing our range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours.

Week 24 – Fresh Freesia

Today’s card started out being something fairly simple but it kept evolving and has many secret components. I have used the Stargazing DSP that coordinates with the Reach for the Stars Bundle. There is also some Hologaphic Trio Specialty DSP too! Check that out on the main planet.

See that little tab on the right… pull it slowly and the largest planet will slide down the card!

Can you see the secret message yet? Keep pulling it slowly.

Decorate the inside with some left over pieces and the astronaut who pops up when opening the card. He is stamped with Stazon ink on the Holographic paper, how cool does it look? He is cut out with the coordinating dies and sits on a Window sheet mechanism (to see how that is done, check out my post from Monday).

I got this idea from Jennifer Maguire on YouTube, if you want to see the instructions on how to create the front section of this card. She didn’t add a pop up inside, that was just me getting carried away!!!!

Thanks for dropping by. I hope you can join me next Wednesday for inspiration using Garden Green.

I wonder if anyone else created their project with these products this week. Please continue the hop  and enjoy the wonderful inspiration of Tina Gillespie.

  2. Well that was very inventive of you Kate. You nearly had me reaching to my computer screen to pull the tab lol! How cool does that astronaut look stamped onto the holographic paper?

  3. You have to love an interactive card, and this one is a real beauty Kate. Your astronaut is very cool, and I particularly like the verse on the front of the card.

  4. I laughed at your description of you getting carried away, Kate … it’s easy to do, with so many fun supplies. This is a REALLY awesome card! Super-clever, having the moving sentiment and planet (and I love the rings cut from Holographic Paper).
