Each Monday, join me for the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop brought to you by the Art With Heart team. We will be showcasing our July-December Mini catalogue and Annual catalogue Christmas products.
My fancy fold design today was inspired by a card I received for my birthday recently, from fellow team member, Caroline Manwaring. She used the Butterfly Kisses Suite.
For my card, I’m using the Storybook Gnomes Suite. My card base is Pool Party and the matt layers are Pacific Point. The Storybook Gnomes patterned papers have loads of different patterns, some of which can be cut using the coordinating Gnomes dies.
The sentiment is from the Brightest Glow stamp set. The image below shows how the card folds to be displayed. (I think I need to change my blade on my trimmer too, those edges are a little untidy)!
On the back I placed a Basic White panel over some more DSP. The mushroom image was cut from the DSP. I always keep these images that are on the sides of the paper and only half the image, a they are handy for decorating like this!
Thanks for dropping by. I hope you can join me next week for more Christmas inspiration!
Please continue to hop and enjoy the wonderful inspiration of Tina Gillespie.

Such a wonderful card Kate and a great tip on how to use the half mushroom on the edge of your back panel.

Absolutely gorgeous, Kate. I love the combination of Pacific Point and Pool Party, they are such pretty colours together. The greeting is the perfect font for your card – it really suits it well. I love this card! (P.S. Is that a new watermark?) – I love it too!

Yes, it is a reasonably new watermark, thanks!

Another fabulous fancy fold card Kate. I love the colours in your card and the back looks awesome too, especially where you have used the half mushroom.

Lovely colour combination, and nicely composed card, Kate. I like how you included the “half toadstool” on the writing panel. I, too, like to keep those bits (usually flowers) to add to edges of card panels. 🙂
