Birthday Bonanza Shaker card

Do you love a shaker card? Here is a cute one using the Birthday Bonanza DSP and the Birthday Goodness stamp set!

The shaker part of the card is created like a window box so there is no stickiness like when using Foam Adhesive Strips, for the sequins to stick to. This way they move freely inside the box.

I had some star & heart sequins left over from a few years ago so they are not the exact colours as used in the card, however they are a similar but lighter tones, so they work well!

On the inside I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink and the cake tower in Grapefruit Grove ink then added a strip of the same DSP as the front of the card. Both of these stamps are from the Birthday Goodness stamp set.

    1. Oh Amy, it was a trial & error project 🤭
I think I started with a piece of card stock 7cm x 7cm, die cut the centre square, then scored around that square at 1/4” on all sides. Repeat again. Then cut from each corner into the scorelines. Does this make sense? I need to make another one but take notes as I go! Hence why I didn’t add instructions to my post 😬🤣
