Festival of Trees

Hello Crafters,

Well who would of thought I would be making another card with the Festival of Trees Bundle! Yes, I do love this set, it is just so versatile and today is no exception with this card. I was extremely happy with the outcome and can’t wait to show you.

Festival of Trees

Colours used are Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss, my two favourite 2014-2016 In Colours. I just can’t get enough of them lol.

I sponged the stars using the Stars Decorative Mask and sponge daubers with Lost Lagoon ink. Then die cut the decorative labels and paper pieced the Blackberry Bliss one. The smaller one is from the In Colours Designer Series Paper Stack. The ribbon bow is from the current Holiday Catalogue.

I stamped the trees and punched them with the coordinating Tree Punch and added them to the card with dimensionals, before adding some Dazzling Details.

Festival of Trees

The sentiment is from the Good Greetings Stamp Set. Can’t find this set in the Annual Catalogue, well it is a new set available for FREE with any order of $300+ as well as earning your hostess dollars. Yes, you heard correctly, it is FREE! You don’t need to host a party, but ask your family and friends to place an order along with your own (in the one transaction) and you too can simply earn this set for FREE!

Bright & Beautiful Stars

Hello Crafters,

Today I share with you a card that can be used for so many occasions, from Christmas to Birthdays, masculine or feminine!

Stars are amazing and look so good in nearly any colour. So here I made a card using the new Star Framelits and the coordinating Bright and Beautiful Stamp Set.

Bright & Beautiful Stars

I made the card base in white cardstock, but folding a piece in half and placing the die on top, but ensuring the point on the fold line sits off the card. This will ensure you get the fold of the card when you run it through the Big Shot machine.

Once you have your card base cut, die cut the same size framelit with gold foil sheet and adhere it to the white card.

I stamped the two large stars from the Bright & Beautiful Stamp set on Blackberry Bliss cardstock using Versamark ink, then embossing with gold embossing powder. Wow does it shine!

Die cut these two stars with the coordinating framelits, and cut a second gold foil star in the smaller size.

Adhere them with dimensionals as shown.

Bright & Beautiful Stars

I finished it off with some rhinestones, just to add a little bling!

Festival of Trees

Hello Crafters,

Well, here I am again with another Festival of Trees creation! I am just loving this punch, with its simplicity and how quick it is to create a card.

Festival of Trees

I used Crisp Cantaloupe card stock to create the base of the card. The next layer is Cherry Cobbler card stock, then pieces of designer paper from the Trim the Tree DSP Stack with a piece of Champagne Glimmer paper edged with the scallop border punch.

Festival of Trees

I used the Tree punch and cut 2 from the coordinating DSP and a glimmer paper one to place in the centre of the card. The small star punch is from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (pg 222).

Festival of Trees

The Tree punch also has a coordinating stamp set (can be purchased as a bundle saving you 15%) available in the Holiday Catalogue that started yesterday!

If you don’t have a copy of this catalogue, be sure to view it on my blog or request a copy to be mailed out to you!

Festival of Trees

Hello Crafters,

This Festival of Trees Stamp Set and coordinating punch will surely be a major hit with crafters abroad when the Holiday Catalogue goes live on 28 August 2014!

Festival of Trees

I used Baked Brown Sugar card stock to create the base of the card. The next layer is Champagne Glimmer Paper then Very Vanilla card stock. I stamped the tree image with Versamark and added Gold Embossing powder and heat set it. You can see the gorgeous shine of the embossed image!

v

I used the Tree punch to cut out a plain Baked Brown Sugar tree and the tree image. I glued the brown tree to the Very Vanilla Card before adding dimensionals to the back to raise it up.

Three small pearls were added to the bottom corner to finish it off!

A Festive Flurry Christmas

Hello Stampers,

Well talk about the silly season creeping upon us, what a busy week it has been!

Here a few of the Christmas ornaments that I have been busy making for our tree.

I can’t decide what colours I like best, so I did a few different ones.

Festive Flurry

This is Blushing Bride & Smoky Slate

Festive Flurry

Cherry Cobbler & Pear Pizzaz

Festive Flurry Festive Flurry

These 2 are Island Indigo and Bermuda Bay.

I love them all and thinks they look so pretty on the tree!

I have also made one to give to a work colleague. She is a lover of champagne, so I thought this was the loveliest gift idea.

Festive Flurry Festive Flurry

I have also made some double sided ornaments to hang from a beam between our kitchen and lounge.

Ribbon Christmas Tree

Morning Stampers,

I am hosting Christmas this year, so it’s well and truly time for me to start getting organised with thinking about my table decorations.

Last night, once the kids were in bed, I sat up to make this ribbon Christmas tree!

Ribbon Christmas Tree

I used the ribbons in the 2013-14 In Colours: Gumball Green, Raspberry Ripple & Midnight Muse.

I cut the ribbon in lengths of 10cm each and used a pin to attach it to a cone.

For the top of the tree, I wasn’t sure how to finish it off, but ended up making a small paper rose and adhering it to the very top of the tree.

Paper Rose

What do you think?

Have a wonderful Sunday all, as I am off to make some more Christmas decorations!

Happy Stamping,

Kate

Stippled Blossom Christmas

Hello Stampers,

Today I have for you a Christmas Card but not using the traditional Christmas stamps.

The stamp set in have used here to do the wreath is Stippled Blossom (Clear 126747, Wood 132076).

The centre image is from the Wishing You stamp set (Clear 131751, Wood 131748).

Stippled Blossom Christmas Stippled Blossom Christmas

Stippled Blossom is one of my all time favourite Stampin’ Up! stamp sets and I case’d this card from Pinterest, so I can’t take all the credit. I saw it and knew I had to make it straight away!

I have stamped with Baked Brown Sugar Ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. To give it a bit of sparkle, I used the Champagne Glimmer card and tied a Linen Thread bow.

It was a very quick and easy card to make.

Happy Stamping,

Kate
