Week 12 – Blueberry Bushel
Today I feature the Country Birdhouse Bundle (fast becoming my favourite products) and lots of Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers (alcohol) for colouring!
Have you ever seen a blue birdhouse? This one is coloured using Blueberry Bushel (Light & Dark), Boho Blue (Light) and Balmy Blue (Light) Markers. How did I choose which colours worked best together? I refer to my Stampin’ Blends Chart (click here for your blank PDF copy).
The bird is coloured with Lemon Lolly (Light), Daffodil Delight (Dark), Peach Pie (Light & Dark) and Pecan Pie (Dark).
The flowers are Melon Mambo (Light & Dark), Lemon Lolly (Light) & Peach Pie (Dark) and Ivory & Bronze. The leaves are Shy Shamrock (Light & Dark).

Such a lovely vibrant card Kate and your blue birdhouse is just beautiful. I’m curious to know, on your blends chart you have 2 swatches for light and 2 for dark. How does this work?

I colour each section & then once dry, I colour half to see a darker shade!

Kate, your blue birdhouse is beautiful and I love all the other vibrant colours on your card too. Those glimmery leaves look amazing as does the inside of your card too!
