Week 42 – Pretty Peacock
Where has the start of 2024 gone?!! I can’t believe February has almost finished, which also means that Saleabration ends tomorrow. Make sure you make the most of the freebies with qualifying orders.
Today I feature the Cutest Cows Bundle, a stamp set and punch bundle!

My card base is 14.9cm x 18cm, scored on the long edge at 2.5cm, 5cm, 7.5cm. A piece of the Glorious Gingham DSP 14.9cm x 10.5cm is attached behind the 2.5cm side to create the card front. This is such a great way to show both sides of the patterned papers, and I thought gingham was so fitting for my country theme!

The next two panels of the card front are glued together to create a tab on the inside to add an additional layer of stamping. I added a diecut piece of Basic White card cut with the Scalloped Contours dies. I also cut the smaller one for the front panel. My cows are stamped in Black Memento ink and coloured with Smoky Slate & Crumb Cake Blends Combo Markers. The little chick is coloured with Daffodil Delight and ther sunflowers with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Pecock Blends. The grass is stamped in Lost Lagoon and I added some light ink with the Blending Brushes. The ‘congrations’ is die cut using the Happy Little Things dies (Online Exclusive coming in March).

The cow on the front is stamped, coloured and punched out with the Cutest Cow Builder Punch and added on dimensionals. The clouds are created using Blending Brushes with Azure Afternoon ink and the cloud is from the Give it a Whirl dies. The Poppy Parade heart was sitting on my desk leftover from another project, but I thought it added to the country theme and added a double Linen Thread bow with a glue dot. Finally I added a fussy cut sunflower to the cow holding it in his teeth!

Thanks for dropping by. I hope you join me next Wednesday for inspiration using Pumpkin Pie.

At the risk of being repetitive – your card is oh so cute Kate. I love your layers inside and out and as has been said the Gingham DSP is gorgeous for the country theme. I adore the cow holding a flower in her mouth and the little chick – fun touches. You are making it hard for me to resist this bundle!
