Heart of Christmas #14 – Handcrafted Ornament Card

Each Monday, some of the Art With Heart team are joining the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop to bring you creative inspiration showcasing our September-December Mini catalogue and Annual catalogue Christmas products.

Heart of Christmas Week 14

Today I am using the Handcrafted Elements dies that stand alone (no coordinating stamp set) to be used with any of our stamp sets. I have paired it with the Joy to You stamp set, with the large sentiments, it sure has been given a workout this festive season.

On my Boho Blue card base is a matt layer of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper. The next layer is Boho Blue and it is die cut using the Labels Aglow dies and this is then added to a piece of the More Dazzle Specialty Paper of the same size and glued to the card base.

The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy ink onto Basic White card, then two strips of the More Dazzle Specialty Paper glued behind the top andbottom of the sentiment. The ornament from the Handcrafted Elements dies, is die cut in Night of Navy card and cut in half to be glued either end of the sentiment. The feature section is added to the card on Black Dimensionals.

Some Gold Edged Ribbon was cut in half lengthwise and tied in a bow. Some gold Festive Pearls are added to the ornament and gold Neutrals Adhesive-backed Sequins to the card front.

On the inside and Basic White layer has a strip of Navy card and some Distressed Gold Specialty paper added to the bottom and another sentiment stamped from the same set.
