Heart of Christmas Week 7 – Winter Meadows

HOC Blog Header 2023Each Monday, some of the Art With Heart team are joining the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop to bring you creative inspiration showcasing our September-December Mini catalogue and Annual catalogue Christmas products.

Heart of Christms Week 7

Today I am using the Christmas Classics Bundle & Joy of Noel Bundle along with the Winter Meadows Designer Series Paper.

Joy of Christmas with Winter Meadow DSP by Kate Morgan, Stampin Up Australia 2023 Heart of Christmas

The Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper is dry embossed with the Basics 3D embossing folder (in online exclusives) is the backdrop for this NOEL feature panel. The NOEL is stamped in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. Some of the leaf pieces are also coloured with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers. Other foliage coloured this way are Pretty Peacock & Lost Lagoon. The berries are coloured with my Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Write Marker to mimic the designer paper. The larger holly leaf is diecut from some Soft Shimmer Paper. Three Lost Lagoon Tinsel Gems are added to finish.

On the inside I added a layer of Very Vanilla card with an offcut of the patterned paper from the card front, and stamped the sentiment, from the Joy to You stamp set. This is a brilliant set with 4 larger sentiments for card inserts and I will be using them on most of my Christmas cards this year!

  1. Lovely card Kate. The embossed panel of DSP makes for a fabulous backdrop to your beautiful cluster. I am also loving the blues and greens with the Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.

  2. So very pretty, Kate. I love the full sized piece of embossed DSP that covers the card front and the lovely sentiment on its mount. I also love that big greeting on the inside – just gorgeous.

  3. Beautiful card, Kate. I love the soft colours in this paper for a contemporary Christmas colour combo and the Crumb Cake is a nice contrast to the blues and greens without being too bold.

  4. Oh it’s lovely to see the Joy of Noel with the beautiful Winter Meadow paper instead. It really looks beautiful and then to add the dry embossing it gives your card lots of texture.

  6. Beautiful card, Kate. Dry-embossing that highly patterned paper just makes it even more beautiful. I love the colours you used on your sentiment panel; it gives it almost a vintage look. The foliage, and big sentiment inside the card, are glorious!
