Hello Crafters,
This week at Paper Craft Crew Challenges is a card sketch PCCCS078.
This is my first time entering a challenge at Paper Craft Crew Challenges and I am loving the fact that I can try new things, although I do tend to struggle with Card Sketches, but this may have something to do with the fact that I am always trying new things and crafting outside my comfort zone!!!
I love the Chevron punch and the Arrows Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF) coordinates so well with it. When I embossed the black card though, you couldn’t really see the texture, so I used a sponge and lightly added some White Craft Ink to make it pop!
As you may have noticed, there are a few more “new” items I have used from the latest Occasions Catalogue; the See Ya Later stamp set, Fresh Prints DSP and the Scallop Tag Topper Punch! This punch is sure to be an awesome item that everyone should invest in, to make your own tags and gifts (which you will see soon on my blog, so make sure you return!)
Here is a closer look!
Hi Kate…. Great card! You did an awesome job and I love your elements with the Cute Clip on the ribbon. Thanks so much for playing along with the Paper Craft Crew! We are thrilled to have you play and hope to see more of your creations.

So brilliant to add the “tag” over the framed shape! Great choice on the sponging, too, I find myself doing that more and more! Thanks so much for playing with us at Paper Craft Crew!

Hi Kate, Such a gorgeous card! I love the way you’ve sponged the white on the EF – it really does make it pop! I will have to remember that one 🙂 Thanks so much for joining us at The Paper Craft Crew this week and I hope to see you back to try some more 🙂
