Week 27 – Granny Apple Green
Today’s cards are a simple design to showcase both sides of these beautiful Merry Bold & Bright DSP patterns. I just love how quick these are to make!
Starting with a Granny Apple Green card base measuring 14.5cm x 13.5cm, scored @ 10.5cm. A 14.5cm x 3.5cm Granny Apple Green Foil was placed behind the front strip, then a piece of DSP 14.5cm x 10.5cm.
The Deckled Circles dies were used to cut the circles and I sponged the edges. The sentiment from Joy To You stamp set, was stamped onto Basic White card and cut using the new Heartfelt Hexagon punch. again I sponged the edges.
Some Gold Simply Elegant Trim was placed between them and the sentiment is added on dimensionals.
To decoate the inside, I added a piece of white card with a 2.5cm strip of coordinating DSP and a different sentiment from the same stamp set. Lastly I added some Iridescent Adhesive-backed Discs on the card fronts.

Gorgeous cards Kate. I love their simplicity and the way the design shows both sides of this Merry Bold DSP. The addition of the GAG foil added wonderful shimmer. Great choice of Sentiments too. Great minds and all that. xxx

The Merry Bold & Bright DSP is a favourite tonight but gee Kate I love your quick and easy cards where this paper is the star. And don’t those large stamped sentiments pair beautifully with the bold and bright patterns!

Such bright and happy Christmas cards, Kate … and what a production line! Nice job, showcasing all the cute papers. The addition of Granny Apple Green foil is really eye-catching.

Oh what a clever way to showcase this colourful DSP, Kate. I love this design and it would be perfect for en masse cardmaking too! I bet that narrow strip of GAG foil really stands out in real life.
