Week 16
Today I feature the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper. I have to admit, I did find it hard to know how to use these papers, but this first card design came out okay, so then I was on fire! I really loved this piece with the deer in the snow, so I had to feature it on the front.
as you open up the card, it has some extra folds inside
Card 2 – started off being like a Christmas bauble on the tree with the diecut circle on the front and featuring the pretty pattern on the inside panel.
Cards 3 to 6 – I have used the label from the Greetings of the Season dies to cut multiple tags from the designer papers. These are very quick and easy cards for when you are time poor in the leadup to the festive season. Adding a gold heat embossed sentiment and lovely embossed background layers with some pretty embelliments to finish them off.

Oh my goodness, Kate, you’ve gone to town this week with not one, not two, but six amazing and inspiring cards! I love them all but my favourite might just have to be card 4 (I think it is number 4) with the Shaded Spruce ribbon and that stunning green tree DSP pattern.

From not knowing how to use this paper, to being super-productive … impressive, Kate! I especially love your first two cards. The fancy fold is a lovely way to show off the different patterned papers. On your second card, I just love the “bauble” – very realistic!
