Week 43 – Pumpkin Pie

Today I feature the Enduring Beauty Bundle. This bundle includes the stamp set, coordinating dies and the Decorative Masks!

I stamped the image with Crumb Cake ink twice onto Thick Basic White cardstock. Using the masks, I first coloured the flowers using mask 1 with Flirty Flamingo ink, then over the top of that I lightly added some Pumpkin Pie ink. Mask 3 is next adding Pumkin Pie.

Masks 2 & 4 are for the leaves, where I used Lemon Lime Twist then Granny Apple Green for the detail.

These were diecut with the coordinating die. My Thick White card base has a layer of white 14cm x 9.5cm. Before gluing this to the card base, I place the 2 coloured images with parts of them overhanding. This is okay, as I will cut the excess away with snips once they are adhered on dimensionals.  The easiest way I found was to flip the layer, carefully holding the image in place, and draw 2 lines on the back of the stamped image around the card base so you know where to place the dimensionals.

The sentiment from Seasonal Branches is stamped and fussy cut with a Iridescent Ribbon bow behind it. I finished by adding Wink of Stella to the flower centres and some Adhesive-backed Shiny sequins.

Thanks for dropping by. I hope you join me next Wednesday for inspiration using Real Red.

  2. A gorgeous card Kate. I love your combination of Flirty Flamingo with Pumpkin Pie – the stencilled flowers are so so pretty. The two greens work beautifully with the other colours too. The way you created the flowers on Thick Basic White is brilliant. There is nothing worse than saggy panels. xxx

  4. Such a beautiful card Kate and who would’ve thought that Flirty Flamingo would go so well with Pumpkin Pie. Great idea to stamp the outline in Crumb Cake too.

  5. Kate, I love the combination of Flirty Flamingo and Pumpkin Pie ink, and stamping in Crumb Cake gives such a soft effect.  I also love how you’ve arranged and split the floral image in two halves on the top and bottom of the card front. This is a beautiful card!
