Week 20 – Gray Granite
How pretty does this patterned paper look when coloured with the Pool Party Stampin’ Blends?!!!

The flower is stamped in Gray Granite ink and coloured with Petal Pink and Daffodil Delight Blends. The leaves I left uncoloured.
The sentiment is die cut in white and then I traced the outside of the die onto Gray Granite card and fussy cut it out to get that layered look and it really pops!
I added the gold hoop with some gold thread before placing the flower on top. I added the beautiful white bow and some rhinestones round the card for some extra sparkle.
The inside I coloured an offcut of the DSP with Pool Party and Petal Pink Blends to tie in with the front of the card.

Such a beautiful soft card Kate – I can’t believe that fussy cutting, and you have to laugh with me as soon as I saw your card, I thought, I don’t recall getting that pool party DSP in my Peony pack LOL. Lovely card!

What a fabulous technique of colouring the background Kate. I particularly like the way you have combined the two colours to colour the inside strip. Very clever and a wonderful design feature.

Lovely card, Kate. Pool Party looks fabulous with Gray Granite and this is such a great technique with open designs. Love the mat you created for the die cut word, too.

This is beautiful, Kate! Gray Granite looks gorgeous with both Pool Party and Petal Pink, and I love how you’ve used both colours. The gold accents, ribbon, and rhinestones are beautiful touches.
