Now let’s get started!
My chosen Sale-a-bration product to showcase tonight is the Happy Birthday to You stamp set, free with any $90 order. I just love the images in this 5 piece stamp set. The font of the sentiments is so feminine and it is so versatile for any occasion.
This card is a lovely monotone in Crumb Cake and White. The layer is a piece of Crumb Cake card, cut 5mm smaller than the card front. I used the stunning Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the layer before gluing it to the card front.
The image is stamped twice onto Crumb Cake card in Versamark ink, White Emboss Powder added and heat set. I fussy cut the entire image out and then the second one, I just fussy cut the flowers & leaves, so I could layer them on top for extra dimension.
In the past I would have coloured the flowers with the Craft White Ink and an AquaPainter, however, I used the White Chalk Marker. It was so much easier!
I added a few Rhinestones for some bling!
The inside I stamped the image in second generation stamping (stamped off once on plain paper before onto the card). The sentiment is stamped full strength.
This next card is created exactly the same way, however, I added some colour with Stampin’ Blends Markers to the flowers for a beautiful spot of colour. I changed up the Rhinestones with Champagne ones!
I even coloured the cake stand on this one to help it stand out more.
Here are both the cards, side by side. Which one is your favourite?
Even better news, is that there will be coordinating dies for this stamp set which will be available next month!!! Yay, no more fussy cutting all those small flowers 😆
Now it’s time to follow the blog hop to our next participant, the lovely, Sharon Davern.

Aww thanks, Sharon. They are simple but that background had to shine & not be covered up!

Oh Kate, your cards are just gorgeous. I love the monochromatic look with crumb cake and if I have a favourite I think it’s that one, but the card with the coloured flowers is beautiful as well. 💖
