Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative products using supplies from the upcoming 2019 – 2020 annual catalogue. If you would like a copy of the brand new annual catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you.
If you’re already hopping, then you just came to me from the talented, Kimberly Hern. If you’re just joining, great! Use the “next” button at the end of my post to hop all the way around. Blog Hops are full circles, so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post there is a link to the next one. There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken links. Now let’s get started!
Tonight I am focusing on the Floral Essence Bundle: Floral Essence Stamp Set & Perennial Flower Punch. I am also using the coordinating Perennial Essence DSP, Perennial Essence 12″x 12″ Vellum & Perennial Essence Floral Centers.
Would you believe, the Leaf Punch also coordinates perfectly with this stamp set!!!
I got out 1 sheet of each design of the DSP and cut each one up into 6 equal pieces measuring 10cm x 14.3cm, so I could make the most of the stunning Monet inspired designs.
I made all of these cards to gift to my mum for Mother’s Day. She just loves receiving my cards to use for her own gifts.
This first card I used a base of Petal Pink and created the frame using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. I adhered it using the Foam Adhesive Strips. I stamped the flower and leaves on the vellum and punched them out. A tip with stamping on the vellum: there is a smooth side and slightly rougher side. Make sure you stamp on the rough side for better results.
The flower I also used my stylus tip of the Take Your Pick Tool to create the white lines, resting it on the Pierce Mat.
Calypso Coral, Blackberry Bliss & Petal Pink feature in this one and those flowers were stamped and fussy cut.
This card uses Blueberry Bushel and I think it is my favourite of all of these. Pity I couldn’t find my Embossing Buddy before I stamped and embossed the sentiment 😦
Mossy Meadow and Crushed Curry features with a Versamark stamped sentiment which is heat embossed with White Emboss Powder.
Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow
Here are some of those flowers close up. How cute are those fluffy floral centers?!!!
You may think these cards are fairly simple, but I sure didn’t want to cover up that stunning DSP!
I have one more card using a few of the new 2019-2021 In Colours. Here I stamped off the larger solid flower in Seaside Spray, then stamped the smaller flower over the top in full strength with Rococo Rose for the centres. The leaves are stamped off in Pretty Peacock ink and then I used the Wink of Stella to colour them, lightly blending some of the ink colour. The 1/2″ scallop Line Ribbon in Rococo Rose was wrapped across the front. I folded some extra ribbon into a flower shape and added a Perennial Essence Center on top.
Now it’s time to follow the blog hop to our next participant, the lovely, Christina Barnes.
