Dear Crafters,

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring stamp sets that you can colour in. We hope our blog hop inspires you to pick up some Stampin’ Write Markers, Watercolour Pencils, Stampin Blends Markers or another form of colouring medium and colour in with your stamps. Don’t forget to contact any of the ladies on the blog hop to order any products, especially the limited edition colour your season products.

If you’re already hopping, then you just came to me from Claire Daly. If you’re just joining, great! Use the “next” button at the end of my post to hop all the way around. Blog Hops are full circles, so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post there is a link to the next one. There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken links.

Now let’s get started!

My projects tonnight are a sneak peek into the upcoming Holiday catalogue available from 5 September and I’m using the Cauldron Bubble Bundle.

I have used Gorgeous Grape for the card base and a layer of Call Me Clover. I stamped the stars in Gorgeous Grape ink before adding the spider web, die cut in Basic Black card. The little spider trinkets are also part of this suite and add that extra touch! The cat, broomstick and the witch are stamped in Memento Black ink and coloured in with Stampin’ Blends Markers; Call Me Clover, Highland Heather, Basic Black, Ivory and Bronze. Then these were die cut and added to the card with dimensionals.

For my next card, I have used Basic Black as my card base with a layer of Highland Heather, and a strip of the Toil & Trouble DSP. Under this is a piece of the stunning Black Glitter Organza ribbon! It is so sparkly and pretty. I have used the Watercolour Pencils to colour in these images and blended the colour with a Blender Pen.

Can you see how sparkly the caudron is and the spider web?!!! Well, to create these, I used the new Champagne Glimmer Paint and an AquaPainter to cover a piece of Basic Black card. Once it is dry, you can die cut the cauldron. I stamped the cauldron again in Granny Apple Green and Real Red, coloured them with Watercolour pencils, before fussy cutting the flames and the bubbles and gluing them to the cauldron. The stars are also created in a similar way, with Champagne Glimmer Paint of Black and Gold Shimmer Paint on whisper white card.

I also coloured the hat and used the Granny Apple Green watercolour pencil to create the band across the hat, gluing it on with Tombo Multipurpose glue. Make sure you purchase your Watercolour Pencils Assortment 2 pack now, as they won’t be available after 31st August. They really are awesome for anyone who loves to colour!
