Dear Crafters,
Welcome to Week 5 of the Heart of Christmas: Handmade Inspiration from the Art with Heart team!
My card today uses the Star of Light stamp set and the Starlight Thinlits with the Shaving Cream Technique!
This is a super messy technique, but I love how different every card is when you wipe off the shaving cream! Here I have used Sweet Sugarplum reinker in the cream, with the Shimmery White cardstock for a little extra sparkle! 🙂
When it was dry, I then stamped the star background and the sentiment in the Sweet Sugarplum ink.
The gold glimmer paper was die cut and added with our new mini dimensionals, and boy are they mini, not so good for these numb hands to handle!!!! I also added some of the Gold Metallic thread behind.
I hope you have enjoyed my Heart of Christmas post and I look forward to sharing more Christmas inspiration with you next Wednesday! If you would like to see what others in our team have created, you can view the participant list over on the blog of our leader, Claire Daly.
Happy Stamping,

What a beautiful card Kate, the colours are just so pretty, I have never tried the shaving cream technique before might have to give it a go.

Oooh, this is soooo pretty! The pink and the gold work so beautifully together. I’m loving the mini dimensionals too, but I can see how they’d be tricky with numb hands.
